Taps and sinks and rock and roll. Week 13

We're on the home stretch! This week our bath has been installed, our toilets and all our taps. We didn't arrange a formal inspection so it's back to peering through windows...

Our garage door was down this week so we can see how the colour matches the stained wood in the cedar sale. 

The splashback is in! And wow what a colour. It's much darker than we expected! It is a teal blue, but clearly the colour looks very different between the swatch and the whole panel. 

It was also nice to see our benchtops and sink properly now that all the extra crap has been taken away. 

 Our water meter has been replaced. Fingers crossed it stays there.

Our next door neighbours have also started! It seems very weird to have someone build so close to us (it's their boundary, they are welcome to!)
We're also a bit jealous that our neighbours two doors down on the other side have their fence and driveway already! I wonder if this means that they will move in before they are finished because we started before them so we expected to be finished first!
