Fighting Grey and Brown - Week 12

In order to get in now we need to organise "official" inspections. Since we've been billed for fixing, we thought we would see what they've been up to.

All the "second fix" electrics have been installed. Light fittings, power points and switches. And so has our garage door!

Our NBN box has been put in although apparently NBN isn't here yet. Rabban, what's going on??? :)

Our kitchen looks much the same as it has for a few weeks now. Our sink delayed the benchtops which apparently then delayed the splashback. We expect it to be installed in about a week and a half.

Our laundry trough. Hehehe! I imagine some of you are a bit disturbed by the colour!  The tiles are a bit boring, but the tub is hilarious. My one fight against grey and brown.

I was originally so excited by our bathroom tiles but to be honest I was underwhelmed. They've been done nicely but I admit, if I'd had my time again, I would have put the floor tiles on the shower walls as well. They look very boring and grey here but they are actually green!

Again if I was planning now I perhaps would ot have put this right in the corner? I'm not sure. It looks a bit funny tucked in the corner with so much space around it.

Both bathrooms are the same, as you would imagine.

Apparently this is the cause of our window breakages. Kids with slingshots.

Tiny little flying saucers on the ceiling.

Cupboards seem very functional.

Wall-E has a new life being our security lights in our backyard.
Our render has been completed and ties in the colours rather nicely. Hopefully it will all blend with the garden when it goes in!
