Locked out of our house

We've been locked out from this week so it's getting a bit difficult to see what they've been up to. But it's pretty easy to see that the kitchen cabinets are in

Our pantry has doors but no door handles and our "cedar sale" is up! This will be stained the same colour as the window and the front door.

We imagine that the stone benchtops will come downt he track with the sink and tapware.

Apart from the new sale (which is a bit hard to see here) it doesn't loko like much has happened to the exterior. Everything from now on in neatening things up and finishing things off. We've been back to the display homes a couple of times (Eager sales people happy to see us but a bit dashed that they can't sell us a house) to see what the final finish for the exterior will be.

We also caught up with the developer this morning to see what our landscaping options are (read: what they are paying for). We have a grand total of 3 options (variety? no.) so unsurprisingly we went for the only native option which is also the nicest and does not involve any lawn to mow.

These are the plants that they have in the option that we have chosen:

Cordyline - Red Fountain

Corymbia Ficifolia - Red Summer Dwarf Eucalypt

Anigozanthos - Red Velvet Kangaroo Paw (noticing a theme in the plants yet?)

Leptospermum Obvatum - Starry Night

Something that's not red - Lomandra Multiflora

And a blue succulent - Senecio Mandraliscae
