Quick Build is Quick!

Well that was quick. Last week we saw most of the frame up and about half of the roof trusses. This week it seems like the house is nearly finished!

In all honesty there is still a long way to go but check out what's been done in a week:

Bricks! We have bricks. These are our bricks. 

Not the whole house has been done but most of it is weather proof.

Look! Roof tiles on the roof! And Tom with our SS inspecting toolshed antiques.

The noggings, they be measured.

Electrical and plumbing is in!

Remember the doors lying in the rain? This is what happened. The SS was notified. He was not impressed.

  Looking back at the kitchen. Windows look a bit fuzzy.

 Because they have "goop" on them. The goop I believe is there to protect the windows from scratches and dust while they work. Makes sense to me.

The bricks, they be blue. 

 The tap that wasn't. No one noticed that this tap on the plans is on our boundary, and thereby totally inaccessible once next door builds. So it must be moved. How sad.

This was the only full house angle I could get today with all the trucks and cars in front of our house. So stay posted for those pics!
