Final Inspection & other peoples' houses - Week 15

Last week we had our final inspection to go through any mistakes/problems and have them corrected before settlement.

For some strange reason I completely forgot to take photos (despite taking the camera) and so I only have more external photos to share. I think we were focussing so much on checking that everything was correct.

The photos today are mainly of the views of our house that we won't be able to see once the estate is built up. These are the "pre-built" houses that will go up for sale soon behind us, plus the new building site next to them.

The neighbours directly behind us took a long time to start, but they're on their way!
The complete house beyond the blue plastic house seems to be one of three people living in the estate. And these are the people protecting the back of our house. In this shot is also the empty block next door followed by the fenced in block two doors down.
Views from Lot 922 looking at our house.

The back of our house. Note the furniture. Those camp chairs are there for a reason!
Once the bricks go up on the block next door we should be able to get the fence up on this side.

The front of our house. Our driveway has also been put in and we're quite happy with the curve and the drainage.

The view out the front of our house. Looking this way the estate will eventually continue to join up with the other end of Elation Blvd.
 Our neighbours across the road
They look just as finished as us.
Further down the street the houses are at all sorts of stages.
We're not sure who is in charge of this. I think our driveway concerters took out the crack, but who is meant to put the concrete back in?

After settlement hopefully our neighbours will agree quickly to the fencing and we can get that done in the new year.
